A former washing machine factory turned 5-star boutique hotel with a basement pool, hammam and sauna — rare for a property this size in Paris. The glass-roofed restaurant is open to non-guests and draws a neighbourhood crowd. The Duplex Suite 'La Petite Maison' at 94 m² can sleep up to 8 people across connected rooms with a private garden. Maison Bréguet opened in 2017 inside a converted washing machine factory in Paris's 11th arrondissement, just a five-minute walk from Place de la Bastille and a ten-minute stroll from Le Marais. London-based studio Sagrada handled the interiors — bespoke furniture, Pierre Frey wallpaper, chevron-patterned Carrara marble in every bathroom — and the result is a place that feels genuinely residential rather than hotel-polished. Fifty rooms across Standard, Superior, Deluxe, Junior Suite and a 94 m² Duplex Suite, plus a basement spa with an 8-metre pool, make it one of the more complete small luxury hotels in Paris.

The sweet spot for most guests. At 19 m² it's genuinely comfortable for two, with a king-size bed and the full Sagrada design treatment. Some Deluxe rooms overlook the inner courtyard. Bathroom with either a soaking tub or walk-in shower.

The headline room. A 94 m² duplex spread across two levels with a full living area, two large bedrooms and two bathrooms — one with a walk-in shower, one with both a bathtub and shower. Combined with a connected Superior Room it becomes 'La Petite Maison,' sleeping up to 8 guests with access to a private garden. Genuinely exceptional for a Paris hotel at this scale.

Junior Suite
At 28 m², this is the first category where space stops being something you manage. Sleeps up to 4, with a large king bed and a sofa bed. Large Carrara marble bathroom with either a soaking tub or walk-in shower.

Standard Room
The entry-level room. At 14 m² it is genuinely compact — one person is the intended occupancy — but the design work means nothing feels cheap.
