Why It Matters
One of only two doubly Michelin-starred restaurants in all of Brittany (as of 2024). Chef Ronan Kervarrec's cuisine is rooted in Breton coastal produce — shellfish, seaweed, buckwheat, salted butter — with a saucier's precision inherited from his father who worked at the Paris George V.
Restaurant first, guest house second — that's the honest pitch. Maison Kervarrec is the project of chef Ronan Kervarrec and his wife Els, who took over the former Le Saison restaurant in 2020, earned a first Michelin star in 2022, and added a second in 2024. The five rooms exist to let guests turn dinner into an overnight, not the other way around. Contemporary, color-coded, and opening onto private patios, they're a good reason to linger after what will likely be one of the best meals you eat in Brittany.
