Club Room
More space, better extras. Queen, double, or king-sized bed. En-suite with shower only (some with shower over bath). Some rooms face the Tay Road Bridge — a genuine upgrade. Comes with a Nespresso machine, bathrobes, slippers, and a proper desk setup.
Club Twin
The twin version of the Club Room. Two single beds, bridge views, and the same elevated extras: Nespresso, bathrobes, slippers, desk space. More spacious than Standard Twin.
Cosy Room
Comfortable and compact — Malmaison's entry-level option. Double or queen bed, en-suite with shower (some with shower over bath). Overlooks the inner courtyard rather than the street or river. Good for a short stay where you plan to be out most of the time.
Junior Suite
A large suite with a proper sense of occasion. King-sized bed, roll-top bath positioned in the main bedroom (not just in a bathroom), and a separate shower in the en-suite. Bridge views. Nespresso machine, widescreen TV, lounge chair, bathrobes, slippers, and premium Mal toiletries.
Signature Suite
The biggest room in the hotel. King bed (the largest in the property), a roomy separate lounge area, roll-top bath in the bedroom, and an impressively specified en-suite shower. If you want to treat yourself — and make a proper night of it — this is the one.
Standard Room
The step up from Cosy. Double or queen bed, en-suite with shower only (some with shower over bath), and a writing desk. Views vary — city, bridge, or inner courtyard depending on allocation. Same Mal DNA: moody lighting, good bedding, digital TV.
Standard Twin
Same spec as the Standard Room but with two single beds instead of one double. Good for friends travelling together or colleagues on a work trip.
Suite
A spacious suite with separate living areas and views of both the Tay Road Bridge and the V&A museum. Monumental king-sized bed, widescreen TV, and a round day bed in the lounge. The bathroom is generous — roll-top bath, double monsoon walk-in showers, and double sinks.
