Opened in 2021 on a quiet stretch of the European Bosphorus shore in Kuruçeşme, this is Istanbul's most decorated new luxury property — voted Best Hotel in Turkey by Condé Nast Traveller readers three years running (2023, 2024, 2025). The building goes low: four storeys above ground and three below, with a facade that mirrors the historic Ottoman yalı mansions lining the strait. Inside, Tihany Design layered redgum wood panels, walnut floors, geometric tulip motifs, and a wave-inspired lobby ceiling into something that feels genuinely rooted in place. 77 rooms and 23 suites across the property; about 80% have direct Bosphorus views.

Entry-level room facing the hotel's leafy garden or Naile Sultan grove — not the Bosphorus. That said, it's 44 sqm of very well-designed space with smart redgum wood paneling, organic textures, metal and leather accents, and a private outdoor balcony. The marble bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower. Good option if you're spending most of your time at the spa and restaurants.

The room to book if the Bosphorus view matters — and it does. At 54 sqm, it's a properly spacious room with walnut wood floors, handmade rugs in Ottoman-inspired patterns, custom Mandarin Oriental mattresses, and a private balcony or garden looking straight out to the water. Located in the central wing, this two-bedroom suite is the one for families or small groups who want space and three private Bosphorus-facing terraces to prove it. At ~EUR 18,894/night, it's a serious commitment.
Royal Bosphorus Suite
The largest accommodation in the hotel at 474 sqm and arguably one of the biggest suites in Istanbul. It reads like a private waterfront apartment: multiple Bosphorus-facing balconies, a fully equipped kitchen, an extensive living and dining room, a private gym, a winter garden, a study, a security room, and a private bar. The primary bedroom has a walk-in closet and a marble bathroom with oversized vanities, a freestanding bathtub, double steam shower, and a separate powder room and makeup table.
