This is the final completed work of late architect Kerry Hill, and it shows. Forty-four suites and one four-bedroom pool villa sit within 128 acres of ancient rainforest on a 1.5 km stretch of South China Sea beach. Every unit starts at 105 sqm and comes with a private plunge pool, a courtyard, and a veranda looking out at either the jungle canopy or the ocean. The property rebranded from The Sirēya Desaru Coast to Mandarin Oriental on 30 January 2026, bringing the group's service standards and global loyalty network to what was already a seriously well-designed resort.

Four Bedroom Pool Villa
The single villa on the property — exclusively four bedrooms with a private pool that overlooks the beach and ocean. The most secluded option at the resort and the only true villa product. Designed for multigenerational families or groups wanting full compound-style privacy. Includes generous veranda and indoor-outdoor living spaces. A dedicated host ensures seamless service throughout.
Rainforest Grand Pool Suite
A larger suite category with enhanced rainforest surrounds and greater seclusion. Designed to feel deeply embedded in the jungle setting, with the plunge pool oriented toward the tree canopy. Reviewed by guests as an 'absolute dream' for those wanting total privacy.
Suite (Rainforest or Ocean View)
The entry point into the resort, and still genuinely generous. All suites start at 105 sqm and come with a private plunge pool, a courtyard, and a veranda — views overlook either the rainforest canopy or the South China Sea. Individually furnished with a nature-inspired palette. Frette Italian sheets, a minibar, in-room safe, pillow menu, and laptop-compatible safe are standard. The rainforest junior suite gets particular mention from guests for feeling like a true retreat, spacious and quiet.
