At 167 sqm, this is genuinely apartment-scale. A state-of-the-art entertainment wall, a Gaggenau kitchen, private dining for eight people, and a master bedroom with a FreshBed climate-controlled sleep system. The original Joyce Wang design, now refreshed — this room was first created for her 2016 renovation. Works as well for a private dinner party as it does for a long business trip.

The entry-level room and still genuinely spacious by Hong Kong standards. Lightened timber floors, patinated walls, Fromental silk wall coverings, and custom rugs inspired by Hong Kong's historic brickwork patterns. King or twin beds dressed in Quivera 530-thread-count linen with sculpted quilted leather headboards. No city view to speak of — you're in Central — but the room itself is the draw.

Steps up from the L450 with the hotel's signature curved, glass-walled bathroom — and that's where the iconic seven-foot round bathtub lives. All the same residential finishes as the L450, but the bathroom alone justifies the upgrade for many guests. The 'A Taste of the Next' offer prices this category from HKD 7,200 per night including a HKD 3,000 daily dining credit.
