Manoir de Lébioles
Historic grandeur meets quiet luxury. Think formal garden, open fireplaces, and period architectural details in the common areas paired with modern, sophisticated room finishes. Romantic and intimate, not party-forward.
Midweek rates (Sun–Fri) are meaningfully lower than weekends — the same Castellane Suite is €100 cheaper per night
Why It Matters
Known as the 'Little Versailles of the Ardennes,' the manor was built in 1905 and has operated as a hotel since the early 20th century. The setting — forested Ardennes hillside above the famous spa town of Spa — is genuinely dramatic. The restaurant is led by chef Thomas Ducroquet, who trained at La Maison Lameloise, Le Bristol Paris, and Le Royal Champagne.
Built in 1905 by Belgian diplomat Georges Neyt and styled after French aristocratic estates, Manoir de Lébioles is a small, stately castle in the forests above the town of Spa. Sixteen individually decorated rooms and suites, a gourmet restaurant with a chef who trained at Le Bristol in Paris, and a full wellness facility make this a serious destination. It is genuinely remote — getting here requires a car — and the silence is part of the deal.

On Property
How you'll actually spend your days.
The property sits within the Belgian High Fens (Hautes-Fagnes) nature reserve. Trails lead directly from the estate into old-growth forest. The Charmille du Haut Marêt — a 600-meter walkway canopied by branches, described as the longest of its kind in Europe — is a short distance away.
The manor hosts weddings, corporate events, product presentations, and conferences. The Board Room seats 40 with modern AV equipment. Additional rooms available for larger events.
A 15-minute drive from the property. Not on-site but the hotel notes it as a key nearby activity.
The legendary Formula 1 circuit at Spa-Francorchamps is a 20-minute drive. Track days and visits are possible when not in race configuration.
No dedicated studio, but the hotel provides yoga mats on request for in-room practice. Contact reception or the spa team.
