A compact 4-star hotel perched above the Gulf of Castellammare, about 40 minutes west of Palermo airport. The building is traditional — tiled roof, wooden shutters — but inside it's contemporary and clean-lined, with near-monochrome rooms accented in deep blue. Nineteen rooms in the main building plus 11 apartments next door, an infinity pool facing the coast, and a proper in-house spa called SaleMarino. Breakfast is the only meal served on-site, but the town's trattorias are steps away.
