Why It Matters
One of the few purpose-built lifestyle resorts on the Costa del Sol that sits between mid-range and ultra-luxury — and makes the gap interesting. METT Marbella is Sunset Hospitality Group's beach club formula exported from Dubai's JBR to a wide stretch of Costalita beach, right between Estepona and Marbella. The 52-meter Azure Beach pool is the social engine — DJs spin from midday, cabanas can be reserved, and food lands poolside. But the energy stays dialled back rather than relentless. Four restaurants serve Italian, Greek, Pan-Asian, and tapas, all open to non-guests, which keeps the place buzzing with a mix of hotel guests and locals. And the MOI Spa, which opened for the 2024 season, has a proper indoor pool, hydrotherapy circuit, sauna, and treatment rooms. No under-13s. Seasonal (April through early November).
