MGM Cotai is a US$3.4 billion integrated resort that opened in February 2018, designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates to look like nine jewel-like boxes stacked on two interconnected towers. The centrepiece is The Spectacle — a record-breaking free-span gridshell glazed roof atrium the size of a football pitch, housing the world's largest indoor LED screen and Nature's Art, a living garden of over 100,000 plants.
