Why It Matters
The flagship hotel of Miiro — a new European lifestyle brand owned by InterGlobe Enterprises (parent of IndiGo airline) that launched in Paris and Barcelona in summer 2024. The hotel's art programme is a real differentiator: curator Gilbert Kann designed both a standalone room and a 45 sqm suite filled with purchasable antiques and design-house pieces. Chef Bruno Brangea, former head chef for Alain Ducasse and world œufs en meurette champion, runs the kitchen at Annette restaurant.
A 1920s Art Deco landmark in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Le Grand Hôtel Cayré reopened in July 2024 as the flagship property of new lifestyle brand Miiro. The building — once a gathering place for Jean Cocteau and James Joyce — has been thoughtfully restored by London design studio Michaelis Boyd, who kept the elegant stone facade and quaint balconies intact while giving the interiors a fresh Roaring Twenties sensibility. 123 rooms across seven floors range from compact courtyard rooms to a 51 sqm suite with a private Eiffel Tower terrace. There's no pool and rooms lean small by international standards, but the location (90 metres from Rue du Bac Metro) and the quality of on-site dining punch well above their weight.

La Chambre Classic
Entry-level rooms that run Paris-standard on the snug side, but the design work makes up for the square footage. Hand-crafted bed, reading corner, rainfall shower, courtyard views. Warm, welcoming décor with bespoke and vintage furniture. Good for one or two guests who plan to spend most of their time out in the neighbourhood.
La Chambre Classic – City
Same layout as the Classic but facing the neighbourhood — either with a balcony or views across to the Sacré-Cœur. A step up worth taking if you want daylight and something to look at over morning coffee.
La Chambre Deluxe
The hotel's spacious standard category, thoughtfully designed for longer stays. Some rooms have balconies. Espresso machine, Le Labo products, rainfall shower, reading corner — all of the hotel's signature features, with more room to actually use them.
La Chambre Deluxe Studio
The best option for families or three adults — the studio layout creates a Parisian apartment feel with a separate lounge area. Sleeps two adults and two children (cots available on request). If you're planning a longer trip and need room to spread out, this is it.
La Chambre du Collectionneur by Gilbert Kann
Designed in partnership with Parisian curator Gilbert Kann, this room reads like a small private gallery. Custom-made furniture, bespoke pieces, and one-of-a-kind collector's items — all sourced by Kann from design houses and antique dealers. For guests who want a genuinely singular room.
La Chambre Eiffel Tower
Rooms that wake up to the Eiffel Tower — framed in the window, right there. Same apartment-aesthetic as the rest of the hotel but the view is the point. Book via email enquiry; these get snapped up quickly.
La Chambre Superior
Larger than the Classic tier, these rooms get you more breathing room plus Le Labo toiletries in the bathroom. Still firmly in 'Parisian apartment' aesthetic territory — pale wood, reading corner, hand-crafted bed. Four of the Superior rooms have been adapted for guests with limited mobility.

La Suite du Collectionneur by Gilbert Kann
A 45 sqm collector's suite designed in full collaboration with Parisian curator Gilbert Kann. Every piece — antiques, custom furniture, design-house objects by the likes of Rink Manufacturing and others — is available for purchase. It's effectively a private gallery you sleep in. City views, marble bathroom, rainfall shower, bathtub. The most distinctive room in the building.

The main suite at 51 sqm. King-size bed, a powder room, a marble bathroom with both bathtub and separate shower, and a separate lounge. The fully-furnished private terrace looks straight at the Eiffel Tower — panoramic and genuinely stunning.
