Milliken Creek Inn is more upscale B&B than traditional hotel — a 19th-century stagecoach stop turned intimate wine country retreat that sits just a few miles north of downtown Napa on the Silverado Trail. The 2021 redesign by Four Sisters Inns brought in cleaner, earthy tones and modern fixtures, though the property's bones remain: shady paths through redwoods, Japanese maples, and magnolias planted by a horticulturist at the turn of the century, and that Napa River view from nearly every room. No restaurant. No pool. But complimentary made-to-order breakfast, nightly wine and cheese with local vintners, s'mores kits by the fire pits, and the kind of attentive service that remembers your name.

Upstairs in the main house. Same private balcony and fire pit setup as Cassia but bigger — 400 sq ft with a separate seating area. River views, king bed, gas fireplace, and the full hydrotherapy tub and overhead shower combo. One of the best value options for balcony access.
KingBrookwood
Ground floor of the south building with its own private deck — outdoor seating, fire pit, and direct river views. The largest rooms at 500 sq ft. Free-standing soaking tub, walk-in shower, king bed, and gas fireplace. Good pick if you prefer deck access to a balcony and want easy outdoor access.
KingCassia
Upstairs in the main house with its own private balcony overlooking the river — and a fire pit on that balcony, so you have somewhere to be at sundown. At 300 sq ft it's on the smaller side, but the outdoor space makes up for it. King bed, gas fireplace inside, hydrotherapy tub.
KingCedar
In the south building — more private and secluded from the other rooms, which is exactly why it's popular with honeymooners. Upstairs, 500 sq ft, with a private balcony overlooking the river. The free-standing soaking tub is the standout — it replaces the standard hydrotherapy setup and has its own aesthetic appeal.

Upstairs in the main house. Compact but well-appointed at 300 sq ft — no river view, but the same luxurious setup as the rest. King bed, one-touch gas fireplace, and a generous bathroom with a hydrotherapy bath tub and overhead shower.

The inn offers wine tasting excursion recommendations. Francis Ford Coppola Winery, Renteria Wines, and Rocca Family Vineyards are all within 15 minutes by car. The concierge team provides printed driving directions and recommendations to local restaurants and wineries.
Every evening, a rotating local Napa vintner visits the inn to pour their wines for guests in the lobby. A genuine introduction to the Napa wine scene without the tasting fee — and it comes with a proper cheese selection.
