Missing Hotel
Experiential glamping with a design-forward, couples-retreat soul. Each shelter is a distinct world. Think record players, floor-to-ceiling glass walls, bohemian-Mexican styling, glass moonroofs for stargazing. The whole place leans into the idea that disappearing isn't a bad thing.

Why It Matters
One of Texas's most distinctive glamping properties — featured in Forbes, Travel + Leisure, AFAR, and others. Every unit has its own hot tub or plunge pool. The property throws in mini Highland cows (Elvis and Presley), a cliff-side driving range, a meditation labyrinth, and a mystical forest. It also operates on a semi-secret location policy: exact directions are only shared after booking, which is part of the charm.
Missing Hotel is a 9-unit (expanding to 11) glamping retreat on a 100-acre Hill Country property near Marble Falls — 45 minutes northwest of downtown Austin. The concept is intentional: you check in to check out. Each 'shelter' is a privately designed geodesic dome or villa, individually styled with anything from Moroccan influences to Wes Anderson vibes, and every single one comes with its own hot tub or plunge pool. No restaurant, no spa, no lobby bar — just you, a Blackstone griddle, rolling hills, and a sky full of stars.

On Property
How you'll actually spend your days.
Every unit comes with its own Blackstone electric griddle and grilling tools for outdoor cooking. Guests are encouraged to bring their own food from Marble Falls (H-E-B is 20 minutes away).
An on-site golf driving range with panoramic Hill Country views from the cliff edge. One of the property's most talked-about unexpected amenities.
A section of the property known as the 'mystical forest' — the hotel recommends experiencing it at night for full effect. The whole property encourages forest bathing as a core activity.
A labyrinth for walking meditation, located above the Rame and Zephyr shelters on the ridge.
Yoga mats are provided in all villas and domes so guests can practice on their own decks with Hill Country views.
Two mini Highland cows live on the lower field. Guests can hike down to visit them — treats are stashed in a black box near the feeding area. Start between Morii and Vagary shelters and follow the orange markers.
Property trails wind through the 100-acre Hill Country terrain with views, wildlife sightings, and access to the mystical forest and mini cow field. Follow orange markers to find Elvis and Presley in the lower field.
Remote Hill Country location with minimal light pollution makes for excellent stargazing. The Yoku cabin has a glass moonroof above the bed specifically for this purpose.
Dedicated outdoor games area on the property with views. Stargazing from the games area is a bonus after dark.
Every shelter has its own private hot tub or plunge pool on the deck. Non-shared, fully private.
