MOKU KYOTO is a four-room boutique hotel where each room occupies an entire floor to itself — floors 7 through 10 of a mixed-use building a one-minute walk from Shijo Station. It's the second property under the MOKU brand (the first being the coastal auberge MOKU ISESHIMA in Ise-Shima), and it opened in November 2025. Every floor comes with its own open-air bath and indoor bath, and the top floor adds an infinity pool and sauna. The building's lower floors house four independent restaurants.

The top floor and the headline act. 85 sqm with a rooftop infinity pool, private sauna, open-air bath, and indoor bath — all exclusively yours during your stay. Limited to two guests, so it's firmly a couples suite. The pool deck has an outdoor seating area for fresh-air cooling after the sauna. Self-löyly (steam with stones) available in the sauna.

The entry-level floor, but don't let that fool you — 80 sqm entirely to yourself with a queen bed, private open-air bath, indoor bath, and a full kitchen.
