Mr. C is short for Cipriani — as in the fourth-generation Venetian family behind Harry's Bar and a global restaurant empire. Brothers Ignazio and Maggio Cipriani opened this ground-up, purpose-built hotel in 2019, bringing their European hospitality DNA to Coconut Grove, Miami's oldest and most laid-back neighborhood on Biscayne Bay. Arquitectonica designed the striking white exterior with oversized porthole windows and a stilts-inspired base referencing Miami's Stiltsville structures, while London-based designer Martin Brudnizki handled interiors — think high-gloss walnut, blue leather tufted headboards, Murano glass chandeliers, and terrazzo floors. The result feels more like a sleek private yacht club than a conventional hotel.

The top standard room tier. Sweeping vistas of Biscayne Bay from both the room and the private furnished balcony, which is the perfect perch for a morning Bellini. Spacious sitting area with sofa and dedicated work desk.

An elevated room tier overlooking the lush greenery of Coconut Grove rather than the bay. Calmer, quieter side of the building. A thoughtfully appointed sitting area with sofa and work desk, plus a private furnished balcony to take in the tropical canopy.
KingPresidential Suite
The crown jewel. Over 1,300 square feet across two bedrooms, with enough room to host a dinner party — the dining table seats ten. The fully equipped residential-style kitchen and open living room (sofa, chairs, coffee table, work desk) make this feel like a private apartment on the bay. Panoramic views of Biscayne Bay and the city skyline from every angle.
