Natiia Relais
Rural luxury meets wine-and-wellness. Contemporary interiors with wood and stone materials, large lake-facing windows, and a slow-living philosophy that's backed up by real kitchen gardens, in-house winemaking, and a regenerative farming programme. Intimate and genuinely quiet — no kids under 14.
Book Osteriia for dinner even if you're not staying — it's open to non-guests and worth the trip on its own
Why It Matters
One of very few Italian wine relais that combines an actively producing organic winery, a credibly farm-to-table gourmet restaurant open to non-guests, a full wellness spa, and panoramic Lake Garda views — all within an estate with centuries of agricultural history, and just 12 rooms.
Natiia is a 12-room, adults-only wine relais on a 10-hectare working estate just outside Lazise on the southern shore of Lake Garda. The property sits within Villa Bottona, a historic estate dating to the 16th century — the facade, with its crenellated walls and tower, was given its current neo-Gothic look in 1872. Opened in 2021 by fourth-generation family member Luca Pannone, it produces its own Bardolino DOC wines and extra-virgin olive oil, runs a serious farm-to-table restaurant (Osteriia), and offers a full wellness lounge with indoor and outdoor pools. And most rooms face the lake.

On Property
How you'll actually spend your days.
A guided tour of the estate's vineyards aboard a vintage Italian Ape Calessino (the classic three-wheeled vehicle). One of the most fun things to do on the property.
Pre-dinner aperitifs on the outdoor terrace overlooking the estate's vineyards, served as the lake turns gold. Regularly mentioned by guests as a highlight.
Picnics among the vines with a bottle of estate wine. One of those genuinely simple things that lands well given the setting and the quality of the wine.
Tastings of estate wines — Bardolino DOC, Bardolino Chiaretto, and Luca Pannone's 'No Name' labels — held in the Vineriia or among the vines. Open to guests and non-guests.
E-bikes available for exploring Lazise and the surrounding lake shore or the gentle surrounding hills. A practical way to reach the village without a car.
Hands-on cooking class with the Osteriia chef. Traditional dishes covered include spaghetti alla chitarra, ravioli with seasonal fillings, and tiramisu. Open to non-guests.
Private boat tours from nearby Lazise can be arranged by the hotel — a good way to see the lake properly.
Guided tour of the historic Villa Bottona courtyard — covering the neo-Gothic architecture, estate history, and the agricultural heritage of the Pannone family.
