Why It Matters
First NH Collection in the Balearic Islands, opening April 2025. Prime marina location puts Pacha and Lío within an 8–10 minute walk. The in-house SLVJ restaurant — the Amsterdam-based Japanese fine dining concept — is a destination in itself. Rooms come stocked with Bang & Olufsen speakers and Illy coffee machines, and the triangular saltwater pool with a daily resident DJ is one of the more Instagrammable hotel pools in Ibiza Town.
NH Collection Ibiza is a 5-star, 38-room boutique hotel right on the Ibiza marina, designed by Ribas & Ribas on the outside and Baranowitz & Kronenberg on the inside. The interiors take their cue from the superyachts moored outside — stripped wooden floors, stainless steel wall panels, floor-to-ceiling windows and a very cool, understated mood. Originally the Sir Joan Hotel, the property relaunched as the first NH Collection in the Balearic Islands in April 2025, gaining three new on-site dining concepts in the process.

Grand Sundeck Suite with Terrace
The Sundeck is actually three connected rooms sharing a private terrace — 125 m² total, sleeping up to six people. It's the group option: one queen and two twin beds under one connected roof. A rare format for Ibiza and ideal for a small group who wants private space without separate rooms.

At 40 m² this is where the room finally starts to breathe. Same yacht-inspired design language — wooden floors, stainless steel, floor-to-ceiling windows — but with real space to move around. The view-terrace version is the standout. Good fit for couples wanting a proper suite feel without the penthouse price.

At 145 m², this is the hotel's top accommodation and a serious statement. King bed, sofa, expansive private terrace with views, wireless charging. The space also functions as informal meeting space per the hotel. Very few rooms in Ibiza Town at this scale and level of finish.

One step up from Superior — an extra square metre, double bed only, and the same yacht-inspired fit-out. Private terrace but without the elevated harbour-view framing of the View category. All the same amenities apply.

How you'll actually spend your days.
The concierge team handles club ticket purchases and VIP table bookings at Pacha, Lío and other venues. They also arrange private island tours and restaurant reservations. Probably the most useful service in the building for a party trip.
An outdoor workout area where you can train in the sun. Personal training sessions with hotel staff are also bookable — good for keeping up a routine during a party-heavy Ibiza trip.
A resident DJ plays by the outdoor saltwater pool every day. The pool is the hotel's social heartbeat — lounge chairs, cocktails from Rhino Bar, and music to ease you into the evening.
The concierge can organise private tours of the island — useful for guests who want to see Ibiza's quieter, rural side between pool and party days.
