Style Niseko HANAZONO
Clean, relaxed, modern Japanese mountain lifestyle — light woods, floor-to-ceiling windows, thoughtful tech (AI speakers, Smart TVs) paired with traditional onsen culture. Not a fussy luxury hotel; more of a well-designed, comfortable base that happens to have excellent facilities.
Book Deluxe or Suite rooms for private in-room onsen baths and Nikko Club Lounge access — the cocktail hour (5:30–7:30pm) with free drinks is genuinely worth it
Why It Matters
Won the World's Best New Ski Hotel at the 2025 World Ski Awards in its very first year of operation, beating out new properties from Austria, France, Slovakia, and Italy. The Style Kitchen restaurant also won the DNA Paris Design Award 2025 in the Interior Design – Hospitality category. The only Nikko Style ski resort property in Japan.
Opened December 15, 2024, this is the first ski resort hotel under Okura Nikko's Nikko Style lifestyle brand — and it absolutely stuck the landing. The hotel sits steps from the Hanazono gondola at the base of Mount Annupuri, one of four Niseko United resorts, with average annual snowfall of 14–16 meters. But it's genuinely designed for all seasons: in winter you're on the slopes in minutes, in summer you're riding a gondola above lush green hillsides. The whole property is built around a multi-sensory concept — lobby LED installations, DJ booth, ambient scents, and music that shift with the time of day.
