Why It Matters
Part of Tablet Hotels and Louis Hotels' Elegant Collection. The resort was designed by architect Fivos Stavrides of F Studio Designers, inspired by ancient Greek amphitheatres. It occupies a former villa frequented by Melina Mercouri, PM Konstantinos Karamanlis, and other influential Greek cultural figures. Every room has at least a partial sea view; the top-tier Elite Two-Bedroom Suite runs to 105 sqm with a 30 sqm private pool and 50 sqm outdoor lounge.
Once in Mykonos is a five-star, adults-only resort perched just above Ornos Beach — one of Mykonos's calmer, more family-friendly bays. It opened in 2022 on the grounds of a notable villa that once hosted Greek prime ministers and cultural icons. The aesthetic is clean Cycladic minimalism: white volumes, earthy tones, and a lot of open sky. This is not the clubbing version of Mykonos — the adults-only policy (16+) and the pool's suitably restful daytime atmosphere make that clear from the start.
