One&Only Portonovi opened in 2021 as the brand's first European property — a marble-clad, palatial resort spread across 60 acres on Boka Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site at the entrance to Montenegro's dramatic Adriatic coastline. Interiors by Jean-Michel Gathy draw on Venetian and Montenegrin heritage: think working fireplaces in every room, natural stone, arched colonnades, terracotta rooftops, and a double-height chandelier lobby with floor-to-ceiling bay views. The serious differentiator is the Chenot Espace spa — a 4,000 sqm medical wellness centre — which makes this far more than a pretty beach resort.

Panoramic Bayview Room
Top-of-the-range standalone room — Mr & Mrs Smith calls it 'cream of the crop.' The sweeping bay views are the best in the standard room category, genuinely the ideal perch for Boka Bay sunsets. In-room fireplace means it works as well in winter as in summer. The terrace daybed stays useful year-round.

Panoramic Bayview Suite
One-bedroom suite with genuine entertaining space: a dedicated living room, dining room seating up to six, two separate fireplaces, a small pantry kitchen for the butler, and panoramic bay and sunset views. Can connect to additional Portonovi Queen or Bayview Queen rooms for a two-bedroom configuration.

The entry-level category — though calling it entry-level is generous. At 55 sqm, the bathroom is nearly as large as the bedroom, with a soaking tub, waterfall shower, double sinks, and a separate bidet alcove. Each room has its own foyer, a private balcony or terrace with outdoor daybed, and direct garden access for ground-floor units. Mountain or garden views rather than bay views.
