Why It Matters
One of Dubai's original landmark luxury resorts, opened 1999, and still holds its own against newer competition. Home to two restaurants overseen by three-Michelin-star chef Mauro Colagreco, an acclaimed Oriental Hammam, and complimentary Aquaventure Waterpark access for guests. One&Only Royal Mirage is three resorts rolled into one 65-acre beachfront complex on Jumeirah Beach, built in 1999 and extensively remodeled in 2019. The Palace, Arabian Court, and The Residence each have their own pools, personality, and vibe — connected by lush gardens, meandering waterways, and a full kilometer of private white-sand beach looking out toward The Palm. The design leans hard into Old Arabia: carved arches, hand-painted domes, intricate mosaics, and vaulted ceilings everywhere you turn.

Arabian Court Deluxe Room
The heart of the resort complex. Arabian Court's 160 deluxe rooms (king and twin) are slightly larger than their Palace counterparts. All face the sea, have private balconies, and overlook the Arabian Court's 500m of beachfront. The vaulted arches and hand-painted domes of this section are the most visually dramatic in the resort.
Arabian Court Suite
Ten elaborately styled suites within Arabian Court. Each has been decorated with intricate Arabian detail — carved archways, traditional mosaics, authentic artwork. Private balcony with sea and garden views.
Beach Garden Villa
The most exclusive accommodation at the resort. A standalone two-bedroom villa right on the private beach beside the Arabian Gulf. Expansive private garden and pool, access to a private beach stretch. Designed for guests who want genuine seclusion within the resort complex.

The entry-level rooms at The Palace. Decorated in chic, contemporary Arabian style with neutral tones and vibrant accent shades. All rooms have private balconies. Some reviewers note the decor can feel a touch dated compared to newer Dubai luxury hotels, but the Arabian architectural detailing remains genuinely impressive.
