A 19th-century palace on the boundary of Chueca and Salesas, converted into one of Madrid's most visually striking boutique hotels. Barcelona designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán transformed the original courtyard into a four-story lobby and filled every corner with retro furniture, oversized lamps, Chesterfield sofas, and art books. Look, the public spaces are genuinely stunning — one elevator is lined with bookshelves, another mimics blue-and-white Delftware tiles.
