Orientbank Hotel Istanbul
Art Deco historic bank building meets contemporary boutique. Warm, club-like atmosphere with carefully curated artwork, velvet seating, and marble floors. Feels more like a private members' club than a chain hotel.

Why It Matters
One of only a handful of hotels in Istanbul's Sirkeci historic district and the only Autograph Collection property there. The building is a protected architectural landmark. Guests get a welcome gift of Turkish delights plus a replica bank certificate from the building's former life — a small touch that lands well. The Gregor Jazz Club in the vault is genuinely the best reason to stay in rather than go out.
A former Deutsche Orientbank building from 1912, designed by Prussian architect August Jasmund (the same man who built Sirkeci Train Station), converted into a 34-room boutique hotel after a full renovation in 2021. The original marble spiral staircase, copper terrace dome, wooden revolving door, and the landmark lead-grey roof all remain intact. Rooms run 20–45m² and carry Art Deco detailing — a deliberate nod to the building's 1920s heyday — while the Gregor Jazz Club operates out of the former bank vault in the basement.
