Osborn House
Modern-rustic country manor with a members' club feel. Think Cotswolds farmhouse meets Soho House — vintage flea-market finds next to bespoke joinery, heritage floorboards paired with contemporary art. No two rooms are the same.
Fire Kitchen is the food highlight — book a table even if you're staying in-house, it fills up fast on weekends
Why It Matters
Designed by Linda Boronkay, former Design Director at Soho House London. The property has been operating as a guesthouse since 1892 but relaunched in 2022 with a completely new identity. The Fire Kitchen restaurant brings serious Latin American open-fire cooking to the Southern Highlands, and the Forest Lodge category offers outdoor baths overlooking Morton National Park plus exclusive access to a Forest Bathing Deck.
A 130-year-old manor on the edge of Morton National Park that got a serious makeover. Designer Linda Boronkay — the original Design Director at Soho House in London — brought her eye for mismatched vintage, bold colour, and bohemian layering to the place, and the result is unlike anything else in regional NSW. Twenty-seven rooms spread across the restored main house and standalone Forest Lodges, with two restaurants, a day spa, 25m heated pool, and enough countryside air to reset even the most frazzled city brain.
