Padstow Townhouse
Antique-meets-modern boutique. Every room has a distinct personality — Parisian, sporting, botanical, tropical — but all share the same level of considered luxury. Feels more like staying in someone's very stylish home than checking into a hotel.
Book a table at Paul Ainsworth at No6 at the same time you reserve your room — the team can arrange it, and the restaurant fills up fast
Why It Matters
Michelin Key-awarded property directly connected to Paul Ainsworth's Michelin-starred restaurant, No6. Named 'best new hotel of 2016' by The Times. No reception desk by design — no barriers between staff and guests.
An 18th-century Grade II Listed townhouse on a quiet street in Padstow's old town, owned by Michelin-starred chef Paul Ainsworth and his wife Emma. Six individually themed suites — each named after a sweet treat — are styled by Emma Ainsworth and designer Eve Cullen-Cornes: think wrought-iron beds, freestanding copper bathtubs, Chesterfield sofas, and limited-edition artworks. The whole operation is built around food: breakfast hampers arrive each morning packed by No6 chefs, the honesty pantry is loaded with chef-curated snacks, and a house BMW ferries you down to the Ainsworth restaurants at the harbour.

How you'll actually spend your days.
A selection of board games is available in the Townhouse for rainy afternoons in the suite.
Hunter wellies are provided for guests to borrow. Popular routes include a 7-mile circular via Crugmeer, Trevone, and Stepper Point; a 4-mile option via Hawker's Cove; and a 3.5-mile route from Padstow to Polzeath via Rock and St Enodoc Church.
Padstow Cycle Hire is an 11-minute walk from the property. The Camel Trail is one of the UK's most popular cycling routes, running from Padstow to Bodmin along the old railway line.
A Padstow Townhouse BMW ferries guests between the Townhouse and the Ainsworth restaurants near the harbour and back. Particularly useful after dinner at No6.
A local dog-sitting service that will collect your dog from the Townhouse and return them after dinner — handy for guests dining at No6, which does not allow dogs.
The Townhouse team handles bookings at all Ainsworth Collection restaurants on behalf of guests, including No6, Caffè Rojano, Ci Ci's Bar, and The Mariners.
