Palazzo Pascal
Historic palazzo meets contemporary Italian design. The art — Pascal-made ceramics throughout — is woven into the architecture rather than bolted on. Intimate and quiet. More like staying with a well-connected local family than checking into a hotel.
Book dinner at Gli Ulivi even if you're not staying here — it's open to non-guests and the view across to Ravello is exceptional.
Why It Matters
The first and only 5-star albergo diffuso on the Amalfi Coast. Michelin Key awardee (2024 & 2025). Family-run with owner-made ceramic art throughout. Genuinely off the tourist circuit despite being minutes from Ravello.
Palazzo Pascal is an 11th-century noble residence turned 5-star boutique hotel — the first albergo diffuso of its category on the Amalfi Coast. It sits high in the tiny hamlet of Borgo Minuta, 3 km from Ravello and 8 km from Amalfi, with a panoramic sweep that takes in Ravello's villas, Atrani, and the coastline all the way to the port of Amalfi. Small, quiet, and family-run, it holds 13 individually designed rooms and suites, each decorated with handmade ceramics by the Pascal family's own Ravello atelier. There's no spa building, no big resort energy, and no elevator — but the views, the food at Gli Ulivi, and the genuinely warm family hospitality keep guests coming back.

The hotel arranges private photography services for couples, weddings, and special occasions — useful given the spectacular terrace and courtyard settings.
