A 24-room boutique hotel sitting on the former site of the Santa Barbara School of the Arts (founded 1920), in the downtown Historic Presidio neighborhood. Palisociety founder Avi Brosh completely reimagined it — pale blue walls, bougainvillea climbing every surface, a fountain-centered Mediterranean courtyard, and an honor bar hidden behind a wall of flowers. Every single room has a gas fireplace and its own private outdoor space, and standard amenities run to Diptyque bath products, SMEG refrigerators, Nespresso machines, and Italian Bellino linens. It's intimate by design: you won't get lost here.
