Palm House is a 79-room Mediterranean-style boutique hotel that spent nearly two decades vacant before reopening in November 2024 after extensive renovation. It's the first US property in the London-based Iconic Hotels & Resorts portfolio — the same group behind Cliveden House and 11 Cadogan Gardens. Rooms are bright and cheerful with sixties-inspired decor: decorative mirrored wall panels, mod table lamps, retro upholstered headboards, and huge marble bathrooms. The coral-hued facade and pool deck framed by palm trees were preserved from the original building, while the Palm Bar — with its glamorous pink Murano glass chandeliers under high vaulted ceilings — is worth a visit even if you're not staying.
