Why It Matters
Brazil's original glamping hotel, opened 2001 by the Peccin family (Casa Hotéis group). Located on a private farm beside South America's largest canyon system. Featured on Tablet Hotels and recognized with multiple Travellers' Choice awards. 303K Instagram followers signal strong word-of-mouth reputation.
Brazil's first glamping property, founded in 2001 on Fazenda Camarinhas — a working farm 15 km down a dirt road from the small town of Cambará do Sul. The property sits 3.7 km from Aparados da Serra National Park, right in the canyon country of the Serra Geral highlands. Think African-safari lodge dropped into southern Brazil: free-standing wooden chalets and luxury tent accommodations connected by outdoor timber walkways, a heated infinity pool overlooking the Campos de Cima da Serra, and a restaurant that takes gaucho cattle-country cooking seriously. You're here for the scenery, the cold, and the silence — winter temperatures can drop below zero, and there's no beach in sight.
