A monumental early-20th-century building — originally the 'Reale Clinica Chirurgica' designed by Eng. Enrico Bovio — that has been converted into Parma's most ambitious luxury hotel. It sits inside the historic Oltretorrente district on a full hectare of private gardens, and the entrance hall alone is worth the stay: ceilings hit 15 meters, the staircase is operatic, and every surface runs to Carrara marble. The 59 rooms and suites are done in neo-Renaissance style with handcrafted furniture made specifically for this property. And yes, the city center requires a 15-minute walk, which some guests find inconvenient.

Junior Suite
At 32–36 sqm, these are where the building's architectural character really shows. Many have a two-level layout — bedroom upstairs, bathroom accessed via a spiral staircase — which is atmospheric but not ideal for middle-of-the-night bathroom runs. Some upper-floor versions come with charming skylights. Some have balconies (the balcony version also accepts small dogs on request).

At 53–55 sqm, a proper two-room suite with a separate living room and bedroom. Spacious Carrara marble bathroom with walk-in shower. Two HD TVs, one in each room. The Suite Deluxe configuration (referenced in older branding) featured two fully equipped separate ambients — this carries forward into the current offering.

The entry-level room at a luxury price point. Compact at 13–16 sqm, but finished to the same Carrara marble and neo-Renaissance standard as everything else in the building.
