Park Hyatt Changsha occupies floors 54–63 of Changsha IFS Tower 2, a 315-meter skyscraper above one of Central China's biggest malls. All 230 rooms and suites start from the 54th floor — the views over the city and Xiangjiang River are the entire premise. London/Hong Kong firm Conran and Partners designed the interiors, drawing on Hunan's landscape of quartzite columns and caves, rendered in timber slats, sage green tones, and custom artwork. The sky lobby on Level 62 makes a proper statement: double-height ceilings, a chandelier inspired by Changsha's famous fireworks tradition, and walls of glass.
