Why It Matters
Directly facing Es Vedrà — Ibiza's most iconic offshore rock — from nearly every corner of the property, including the rooftop bar, pool, and most room terraces. Chef Baltasar Rigo (trained in Albert Adrià's kitchens) leads a serious kitchen operation across three distinct dining spaces. The glasswork throughout was custom-commissioned from Gordiola, Spain's 4th oldest company, founded in 1719.
Petunia sits on the quieter southwest coast of Ibiza, facing the dramatic rock formation of Es Vedrà — and that view is the whole point. It's a former 1990s family holiday residence, acquired by the French Beaumier group in 2017 and reopened in 2023 with 42 rooms and suites redesigned by Atelier Saint-Lazare. White walls, raw wood, natural fabrics, blown-glass fixtures from a Mallorcan factory founded in 1719. Three restaurants. A pool ringed with palm trees.
