Why It Matters
It's the sixth property in the Marine & Lawn collection and only the second in Northern Ireland — and it opened just in time for The Open at Royal Portrush. A Victorian coastal hotel completely reimagined by AJ Capital Partners' in-house design team, it's the most prominent luxury address in Portrush itself.
Portrush Adelphi is a 34-room boutique hotel on the Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland, reopened in April 2025 after a full renovation by Marine & Lawn Hotels & Resorts. The building is a mid-19th century landmark right on Portrush's Main Street, steps from Royal Portrush Golf Club — host of the 153rd Open Championship in July 2025. Interiors lean into the maritime setting: mahogany herringbone floors, tartan upholstery, cable-knit throws, and jewel-toned rooms done in deep blues and greens with custom Emerald Isle bathroom tilework.
