A family-run inn since 1926, the Post Hotel sits right in San Candido's pedestrian zone — as central as it gets in this small South Tyrolean town near the Austrian border. The 2014 renovation stripped out the alpine clichés and replaced them with contemporary Italian luxury: graphic murals, sleek Italian design, and parquet floors throughout. Adults-only (guests must be 14+), which is the whole point — this is a quiet, grown-up retreat where you can actually hear yourself think. A June 2023 spa overhaul added a redesigned indoor pool, Secret Garden, and new relaxation areas.
