A 1930s triple-story mansion and its mid-century annex next door, converted into a 21-room boutique hotel sitting behind wrought-iron gates on a quiet residential street in Polanco. The vibe splits the difference between design hotel and B&B — original double staircase, stained glass, and decorative moldings intact in the public spaces, while the rooms go full contemporary-eclectic with bold colors, patterned wallpaper (butterflies, insects), stag head busts above the beds, and modular sixties-style furniture. Received a Michelin Key in 2025. Noticeably more spacious. Includes a kitchenette, small fridge, and living area. Some units have a bathtub. Natural light and exterior views make this the sweet spot for most stays — the price premium over the standard Suite is modest.
Junior Suite
The entry-level room category — and the name flatters the size. These are compact rooms, some with glass doors that face the interior stairwell rather than outward, creating a fishbowl effect. Comfortable goose-down beds, minibar, flat-screen TV, and private bathroom. Best for light sleepers on a budget who won't be spending much time in the room.
Master Executive Suite
The flagship room. Two living spaces, a kitchenette, and a large bathroom with his-and-her shower plus a freestanding tub. Guests who have stayed here describe it as more like a large apartment. Some units sit on the top floor with sun-filled rooms and decorative ceiling moldings. Worth the upgrade.
Suite
A step up from the Junior Suite in size, with the same bold-color design approach. Some have courtyard views. Bathrooms remain on the smaller side. The teal walls are characteristic — love them or find them a lot.
