Riad Dar Saad - Hammam & Spa
Artistic, intimate, and proudly eclectic — each space reflects a different cultural influence, from Berber-inspired rooms to an African-themed lounge with a fireplace. The owner's design sensibility runs bold: vivid colors, handcrafted mirrors, and sculptural details throughout. Feels personal, not corporate.
The Chiba Suite is the most-requested room — it has a private terrace and direct pool views through a glass wall
Why It Matters
Selected by the Michelin Guide and Tablet Hotels, and named a Condé Nast 2025 pick. The riad is distinguished by its multi-house architecture (including a standalone La Petite Maison nearby), the seriously well-priced Les Bains de Ninon spa, and a location in Dar El Bacha — a quieter, more residential corner of the medina, a short walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa.
Riad Dar Saad is a collection of several interlinked, restored traditional houses in the Dar El Bacha district of Marrakech's medina — the vision of an architect-artist who fell in love with the city back in 1988 and spent the next 15 years acquiring and restoring them. The result is more like wandering through a living museum than staying in a hotel: every room is distinct, hand-crafted tilework lines the courtyards, and curated local art fills the alcoves. The in-house hammam, Les Bains de Ninon, operates as a standalone spa open to guests and outside visitors alike.
