Insider Tip
1/5

Call ahead when you arrive in the Medina — staff will come to meet you with a luggage trolley. Even taxi drivers get lost in these alleys.

Why It Matters

Only four suites total, making it one of Marrakech's most intimate luxury stays. Michelin Key holder. Has been a fixture in the European press (Evening Standard, Telegraph, Guardian, Côté Sud, Interni) and is listed by both Tablet Hotels and Mr & Mrs Smith. The entire riad can be hired exclusively for groups, yoga retreats, or families.

Four suites. One courtyard. A deep plunge pool lit by lanterns. Riad Due is an intensely stylish boutique riad tucked inside a traditional Marrakech courtyard mansion in the Riad Larousse quarter of the Medina. Each suite has its own distinct personality — bold colour, antiques from Morocco and beyond, art from local and international artists — and the whole place can be booked out privately. It holds a Michelin Key and has been featured in the Evening Standard, The Telegraph, The Guardian, and the Italian design press.

Where You'll Stay

Abdel Suite

Abdel Suite

The ground-floor suite and one of the most dramatic in the riad. Black marble floors, cerulean and indigo Moroccan tiling, and a beautifully carved wooden ceiling overhead. King-size bed, and a bathroom worth lingering in: a large marble tub, an ensuite dressing area, and a walk-in shower open to the sky. The hand-carved toilet door was salvaged from a house in Fez.

Deluxe Room

Kamal Deluxe Suite

The smallest of the four, but don't let that put you off. A sculptured plaster ceiling gives the room character, and the compact footprint actually makes it feel more intimate and jewel-like. Still comes with the same in-room amenities as the suites above. Good for solo travellers or couples who want to save slightly on rate.

Junior Suite

Samir Junior Suite

The most cocooning of the four. A fireplace makes it the obvious choice in cooler months. The bed — its headboard converted from an old door — appears to float above the floor on a wooden panel. Private hammam and double shower in the bathroom. Snug without being small.

The showstopper. A freestanding hand-carved copper bathtub sits near the window — made in Morocco and absolutely the focal point of the room. Oversized Moorish lanterns flank a colourful king-size bed. Behind a sliding red panel is a full bathroom with double sinks. The most opulent of the four.
