San Luis Creek Lodge is a 25-room boutique B&B spread across three distinct buildings in downtown San Luis Obispo. The whole place was redesigned by Nina Freudenberger of Haus Interior — the designer behind the Surf Shack book — and it shows: rattan blinds, vintage rugs, hand-picked Block Shop prints, and Aesop on every bathroom shelf. It earned a Michelin Key in both 2024 and 2025, which tells you exactly where it sits relative to other Central Coast options.

The entry-level room here, and still genuinely nice. 275–300 square feet with one plush king bed, custom furnishings by Haus Interior, and original Block Shop artwork on the walls. The bathroom has an oversized walk-in shower with custom cement tiles and marble countertops with a waterfall edge.
