SAX Paris is LXR Hotels & Resorts' first French property, opened April 2025 inside a landmark 1899 neo-Gothic building that was once the Ségur telephone exchange. The design, led by Karine Journo, makes a bold statement: 200 Baccarat mirrors and chandeliers fill L'Iconic Galerie, a commissioned crystal sculpture by Arik Levy guards the garden, and a street artist's mural referencing the building's République Française insignia anchors the restaurant ceiling. Base rooms are compact by luxury standards — just 24 sqm — but finished in white marble, wood panelling, and cognac leather, with minibars stocked from Le Bon Marché's La Grande Épicerie. The real headliner is Kinugawa Rive Gauche, a two-storey Franco-Japanese rooftop restaurant with direct Eiffel Tower sightlines.
