A historic Scottish Borders estate turned luxury resort, SCHLOSS Roxburghe sits on close to 300 acres of manicured grounds with an 18-hole championship golf course, an award-winning spa, and 51 self-catering cottages spread across the estate. The main house dates back centuries — Bonnie Prince Charlie reportedly spent a night here in 1745 — and in 2018 the property was acquired by German group 12.18. Investment Management, which added a 58-room contemporary extension, a 600sqm spa with outdoor infinity pool, and a new restaurant wing. It's now part of the Destination by Hyatt collection.

Guided shooting sessions for all levels at the on-site shooting ground. Introduction lessons cover safe gun handling, eye dominance, stance and target alignment. All guns, cartridges and safety equipment provided.
Half or full-day Atlantic salmon fishing on the River Teviot, plus trout and grayling. Also a Trout Loch on the estate. Individual or group instruction available, equipment hire included. Expert guides from the Country Sports Centre.
The Dave Thomas-designed championship course winds through mature beech woodlands, uses dramatic water hazards and clever bunkering, and is ranked among the best inland courses in Scotland. The Toptracer driving range on-site is the only one in the Scottish Borders.

The Teviot Suite (157 sqm) with golf course views is the largest space. The Victorian Conservatory with glass ceiling is available for more intimate events. On-site event specialists and AV support available.
Full Scottish breakfast included for hotel room guests — buffet plus cooked-to-order dishes at Charlie's. Not included for cottage guests, who receive a daily £25 Estate Market credit instead.
