Opened in September 2022, the Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort is the first Sheraton resort in the Philippines — and it shows. The design leans into Cebuano identity: the open lobby is filled with earth-toned furnishings, handcrafted furniture, and custom art installations by industrial designer Kenneth Cobonpue. All 261 rooms are among the largest on the island, starting at 50 sqm, and most look out over the sea. The dining lineup is genuinely interesting — Dip Nikkei brings Japanese-Peruvian fusion to an island that had none, and Buhi Cave Bar is a proper Mediterranean cocktail den tucked into a natural beachside setting.
