The team has deep roots in the Athens creative scene — co-founder Eftihia Stefanidi is the art director, previously with Secret Cinema London.
Shila is a six-suite boutique hotel inside a 1920s neoclassical mansion on a quiet pedestrianised street in Kolonaki, Athens's most upscale neighborhood. The building was once a lawyers' office; today it's a rotating gallery, event venue, and deeply personal hotel where every corner has been deliberately designed. Think floating beds, black bathtubs, peacock chairs, original terrazzo floors, exposed brick, and walls covered in Greek and international artworks — most of which are for sale.
