Prague
Historic bones with a Cubist-contemporary soul. Moody color palettes, geometric shapes, Czech folklore references, Murano chandeliers, and blush bathrooms. Warm and eclectic rather than cold-minimalist.

Why It Matters
One of Prague's first genuinely design-forward boutique hotels, conceived by Linda Boronkay (featured in Country & Townhouse's Best 50 Interior Designers 2022 and Phaidon's By Design). The building's neo-Renaissance ornate ceilings and stonework are kept intact while the interiors draw deeply from Czech Cubism — an aesthetic that's actually native to Prague rather than imported. Also a member of Design Hotels and bookable through Marriott Bonvoy.
Sir Prague occupies a beautifully preserved neo-Renaissance building from 1884 on the Vltava embankment, right next to Frank Gehry's Dancing House. Designer Linda Boronkay — former Design Director of Soho House — wove Czech Cubism, Gothic stonework, and local folklore throughout: hand-painted artwork on the walls, geometric patterns in the fabrics, blush-tiled bathrooms, and Murano chandeliers hanging over the library. It opened in 2024 as part of the Amsterdam-based Sircle Collection, bringing 76 rooms, the award-winning Seven North restaurant, a gym, and a sauna to one of Prague's most photogenic riverside addresses.

How you'll actually spend your days.
Bike rental available through the hotel — practical given the riverside location and proximity to Prague's cycling routes along the Vltava.
State-of-the-art cardio machines, free weights, and guided group classes available on request.
Guests are invited to explore the curated artworks and creative details tucked into unexpected corners of the building. Informal and self-led, but the hotel's opening events featured guided versions.
The hotel curates a digital city guide with recommendations for Prague's best food, culture, and shopping — practical and editorial, not the usual tourist checklist.
A bookable package that adds a private guided tour of Prague's historical secrets — inspired by Dan Brown's mystery writing — plus an in-house experience at the hotel. Must be added at booking.
Add the pet package to a booking for a curated pet-friendly stay. One pet per room, maximum 13 kg, with a 750 CZK non-refundable fee. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant due to the open kitchen.
