Request a Terrace Suite for the private in-room sauna — especially useful after hard ski days

Why It Matters

One of the newest and most ambitious additions to Crans-Montana's already competitive hotel scene. The spa alone — with its 15,000-stick suspended timber ceiling, indoor-outdoor pool flow, and dedicated biohacking lounge — justifies a detour. The fact that it's a genuine ski-in/ski-out property with a Japanese restaurant looking straight onto the slopes is the cherry on top.

Six Senses Crans-Montana sits directly on the Chetzeron piste in one of Switzerland's most storied resort towns, and it pulls off something genuinely hard: ski-in/ski-out convenience, a 2,000 sq m spa with biohacking tech, two proper restaurants, and rooms built with quartzite facades, larch, oak and slate — all without feeling like it's trying too hard. Opened in 2023 and designed by AW2 Paris and JP Emery & Partners, the hotel trades the usual heavy-handed Alpine kitsch for a stripped-back, airy modernism that still feels warm. Views from the balconies stretch toward the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc. The Cry d'Er gondola is right at the door, giving access to one of the largest ski areas in Switzerland.
