Why It Matters
The furthest-flung Soho House property in the world, planted on a tiny island that barely registers on most maps. Canouan is a billionaire's secret — Harry and Meghan have been — and this is the most accessible, least stuffy way onto it. Open to non-members, but members and Soho Friends get rate discounts. It's also part of the larger Canouan Estate, which means guests get access to the Mandarin Oriental's pools, spa, and an 18-hole golf course.
Soho House took a former Caribbean hotel — the old Tamarind Beach Hotel — stripped it back, and rebuilt it with reclaimed timber, rattan, vintage cane, and all the signatures that make Soho properties tick. The result is 40 rooms lined up along Grand Bay beach in white wooden buildings with blue tin roofs, open to non-members and radiating the kind of effortless cool that somehow survives the 40-minute flight from Barbados. It's the most remote outpost in the Soho House empire, and honestly, that's the whole point.

How you'll actually spend your days.
The Canouan golf course overlooks the ocean from every angle, with views of neighbouring islands and the Caribbean Sea. Accessible to Soho Beach House guests as part of the Canouan Estate.
Three floodlit astro-turf courts available daily from 9am to 6pm. Private lessons with the seasonal coach can be arranged.
Book a yacht, catamaran, or speedboat for a full or half-day exploration. Destinations include the Tobago Cays marine park (30 min away, sea turtles and coral reefs), Mustique, Bequia, Northern Grenadines, and local markets. Private charters can be arranged for grilled lobster lunches at Alfonso's on Tobago Cays.
Learn the island way of husking a coconut with only a stick, then enjoy the coconut water straight or mixed with spirits from the bar. A genuinely fun 30-minute activity.
House-led masterclasses covering traditional palm weaving and rum blending — two of the more memorable ways to spend an afternoon on a small Caribbean island.
The house team takes guests to local spots for dishes native to the nearby islands — a good way to get beyond the property and support the local community.
Open daily for children aged 3 and above. Activities include cooking, arts and crafts. Two outdoor pools suited to toddlers and older children are available via the Canouan Estate.
Learn cocktail-making under the guidance of the house mixologist, with a focus on local Grenadines specialities including the Canouan Colada and rum-based classics.
The highest point on the island at 877 ft above sea level. The guided hike takes 20–30 minutes to ascend, starting around 7am to beat the heat. Led by the house's trail guide Floyd Cupid. The summit delivers 360-degree views across Mustique, Mayreau, Tobago Cays, and as far as Grenada. Watch for the resident tortoises on the trail.
Head out from Grand Bay Beach with equipment borrowed from the house. The Purini Wreck — a British ship that sank in 1918 — is a nearby snorkel site now home to tropical marine life. Paddleboards, catamarans, kayaks, and snorkels are all available to borrow.
Every Saturday from 5–7pm at the terrace bar: pizzas, House cocktails, and local DJs. The social high point of the week.
