Son Xotano is a 22-room rural estate set on a 12th-century Mallorcan possessió outside Sencelles — about 25 minutes from Palma but feeling like a different century. Honey-colored stone walls, beamed ceilings, and traditional ikat textiles anchor the interiors, while powder-blue shutters, striped sun loungers, and jasmine-draped terraces give the whole place a cheerful, sun-drenched energy. No TVs. No spa. Just good food, an excellent pool, and the kind of quiet you didn't know you were missing.

The entry-level room, set in the eaves of the main house — lower ceilings add to the cozy feel. Beamed ceilings, traditional ikat textiles, stone floors, and an earthy colour palette. Compact but beautifully finished. King-size bed, walk-in rainfall shower. No terrace, but perfect if you plan to spend most of your time outside anyway.

Bright, spacious double rooms on the first floor of the main house with a semi-private furnished terrace. Same contemporary farmhouse interiors — beamed ceilings, ikat textiles, earthy palette — but the terrace is the real upgrade here, putting you face-to-face with the Mallorcan countryside.

The sweet spot in the lineup. A 35 sqm suite on the first floor of the main house with a semi-private furnished terrace that surveys the estate. Good for those who want the terrace but don't need a private garden.
