Book a Heritage View room to get direct sightlines to the historic red-brick Kaitakushi Brewery chimney

Why It Matters

Sole Japanese participant in MGallery's World Cocktail Months 2026, collaborating with Michelin-starred World's Best Female Chef 2025 Chef Pam Pichaya. The hotel sits directly across from the Kaitakushi Brewery — you can get their rare unfiltered draft beer on tap at the bar, the only venue outside the brewery itself to serve it. The restaurant décor is inspired by the German breweries where Japan's first successful beer brewer learned his craft.

Hotel Sosei Sapporo is a 118-room boutique hotel sitting inside the landmark Sapporo Factory complex — a former brewery turned entertainment and shopping district. The whole place is built around the concept of a 19th-century Hokkaido pioneer mansion reborn for the 21st century, with interiors that blend Japanese and Western design through wallpapers depicting local flora and fauna, Hamanasu flower motifs, and brewery-era artefacts. Rooms split between a tranquil green and a rich purple palette. No pool, no spa — the focus here is on design, atmosphere, and food.
