Book the Thursday wine tasting in advance — Manfredi personally leads it and it sells out fast

Why It Matters

Michelin Key 2025 recipient. One of very few agriturismo-style properties in Sicily with this level of hospitality polish — farm-to-table taken literally (the chef walks the garden before dinner), on-site Sicilian cooking school, sailboat excursions, and a wine tasting hosted by Manfredi himself every Thursday. Member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and Virtuoso.

A 200-year-old working masseria in the agricultural heart of Sicily, run by the fifth-generation Saeli-Rizzuto family. Manfredi and Sara converted the former cattle stalls, granary, and winery into a quietly elegant eco-retreat in 2008. There are 18 rooms total — no TVs, no minibars — because the whole point is to unplug and pay attention to what's actually around you: 600 hectares of wheat fields, olive groves, and cherry orchards, a pool looking out over rolling hills, and cooking workshops where you make bread from grain grown on the property.
