Why It Matters
One of Belgium's most storied hotel buildings — a 15th-century monument on Leuven's main square. The building was famously rented for months in 2019 by Omani Sultan Qaboos. Martin's Hotels acquired and renovated it in 2024, expanding the room count from 42 to 62.
The Fourth sits right on the Grote Markt, in a 15th-century building that has already lived four lives: guild house, theatre, National Bank branch, and now hotel. That's literally where the name comes from. The rooms contrast sharply with the gothic exterior — contemporary, clean-lined, with high ceilings and hardwood floors. Leuven's Town Hall is steps away, St. Peter's Church is 200 metres, and Brussels is 30 minutes by train.

No on-site parking. The hotel has a special arrangement with Parking Ladeuze (Monseigneur Ladeuzeplein 20, 3000 Leuven) offering 24-hour tickets at a reduced rate. Public street parking also available nearby at approximately €20/day.
