Why It Matters
One of India's most significant heritage palace hotels, the Falaknuma Palace — meaning 'mirror of the sky' — has genuine royal provenance. The scorpion-shaped building contains one of the most acclaimed collections of the Holy Quran in India, Venetian chandeliers, rare manuscripts, and a vast crystal collection. Every corner of the property has a documented royal history; the Gol Bungalow terrace hosted King George V and Queen Mary.
